Big Blue Marble puts our relationship with the Earth into perspective with singing, dancing, and clever storytelling. The cost is $32 for adults and $12 for children, and you will get a seat, but it won’t be as comfortable as the one in the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Desert Botanical Garden
What better place to familiarize yourself with the Earth than the botanical gardens? This years theme: pollinators. What more can you ask for? Take a walk through one or all of five unique trails and learn about botany! There will also be costumes and visitors are encouraged to dress up as their favorite pollinators. We aren’t sure how many pollinators their actually are, but we think the 2016 CLA250 Edition: Orange looks like a wasp of some kind.
Earth Day at Phoenix Zoo

Let the zoo help you teach your kids how to live sustainably! Basically this is a regular day at the zoo with extra Earth Day activities. The extra events are all included with regular admission and there also might be animals there.

The cool thing about this one is that all the waste produced at the event will be recyclable or compostable. Admission is free to the public and they will be giving away Earth Day prizes while supplies last. Sorry, no Mercedes-Benz prizes.

Zero Waste Day

Fire Training Facility
This event is unfortunately only open to Tempe and Guadalupe residents, but if you happen to claim residency in one of these places, you can take part in this unique event. Here, you can bring documents for shredding, claim up to four buckets of recycled compost or paint, and of course, eat food.
