All New 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Smartphone Features to Get Excited About

2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Smartphone Features

Later this year, the GLK will become obsolete because the GLC will be replacing it. It will be hitting dealerships across the country in November. The new GLC will have a simpler interface that will increase the convenience of smartphone usage. Although all Mercedes-Benz vehicles already have the ability to sync with smartphones, the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC smartphone features will include the newest version of mbrace technology and the best in Bluetooth connectivity.

GLC Smartphone Features Sync

The GLC will be compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems. You can plug your phone into the infotainment system via USB or connect it wirelessly through Bluetooth. Once connected, you will be able to control phone functions through the car’s Command Navigation System. These functions include song selection, calling, and navigation.

Smartphone Features mbrace Application

The mbrace app is also available on Apple and Android systems. It is free to download and offers obsene amounts of value. The mbrace app gives you access to a virtual key fob, which can be used even when you are not near the car. It also provides a car locator function that will help you find your car in a crowded parking lot by use of GPS. If needed, it can also alert you if the car is operated after a certain curfew. This might be useful for Mercedes-Benz drivers with sneaky teenagers. One of the coolest mbrace features is something right out of a James Bond film. You can find a location on your phone and have it sent to the car. Once you enter the car, it will ask you if you want to travel to your destination and off you go.

Mercedes-Benz is one of the best car manufacturers for tech-savvy drivers. The smartphone integration is seamless and simple to use. If you would like to learn more, leave a comment or contact Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead for a test drive. The GLC may not be available yet, but the C-Class already has this technology in it.
