What's New With the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

It hasn’t changed much since last year, and it is still the entry-level Mercedes-Benz vehicle in the United States, yet it is getting more attention than the GT S and the SL-Class Roadster! Even without a redesign, we all know there will be new features included in every Mercedes-Benz as each year progresses. For the CLA, the big change is the new grille. With the new grille and a new set of bumpers, the CLA has a new front end. It looks a little more aggressive, but it also looks very similar. The wheels, of course, feature different designs, and there will be new optional LED headlights.
On the inside, the CLA250 now has the 8-inch LCD infotainment screen that you will find in all other Mercedes-Benz vehicles for 2017 and it is paired with a new standard rear-view camera. Two new upholstery colors, Beige and Black Leather, will likely be the most popular interior colors for the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA250, now standard with Active Brake Assist.
The CLA250 may only come with 208 horsepower, but it is more than enough to get the car from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 6.9 seconds and then all the way up to 130 miles per hour at the top. It features a 7-speed, dual clutch transmission that sets the standard in the industry, typically only being found in more upscale vehicles. These numbers are impressive for a vehicle that is available for under $40,000, but the real impressive thing is the efficiency. The CLA250 is capable of up to 38 miles per gallon on the highway and 26 miles in the city. It’s no wonder why the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 release date is so wildly anticipated.
