2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Pre-Safe Sound

This technology protects your ear in the event of an accident, not because of a fear of Mike Tyson, but because the loud noises associated with car accidents have been linked with inner-ear damage for many drivers. To do this, the new E-Class will project a sound that relaxes your ear drums if it detects an eminent collision.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Pre-Safe Impulse Side

In any given accident, there are certain areas inside the car that are safer than others depending on where the collision occurs on your vehicle. Pre-Safe Impulse Side will give your body a push to the center of the vehicle to avoid getting crushed by an impeding car.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Car-to-X Communication

Like social media for cars, this technology will use sensors to let other drivers know of potential driving hazards or traffic jams to drivers who are headed in the same direction. At first, it will only be available in the 2017 E-Class, but Mercedes-Benz hopes to implement this technology in competing brands to make driving safer and more convenient for everyone.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Evasive Steering Assist

The2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class utilizes COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST to hit the brakes to avoid collision. The 2017 model takes it a step further and will swerve out of the way of an object if it doesn’t have time to stop.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Park Pilot

Have you ever pulled into a parking space only to realize there isn’t enough room to open the door? With the 2017 E-Class, simply get out before you pull in the spot and use your phone to remotely control the car into the spot. It really works!

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Touch Control Buttons

Offered for the first time ever in an automobile, the E-Class will feature touch screen buttons on the steering wheel that can be used to control the infotainment system. You can touch and swipe without ever taking your hands off the wheel.
