For the last 37 years, the G-Class has been a symbol of power and luxury. Visually, it has remained mostly unchanged, but mechanically, it has grown with technology to continue to be one of the most advanced SUVs in the world today. From 2016 to 2017, the biggest difference is the introduction of the G550 4X4², but there are also a few additions and modifications that make the 2017 G-Class the most capable in history.
Is The Convertible G-Class Coming Back?
To be the one of the best off-road vehicles in the world, the G-Class comes with a lot of buttons. These buttons allow drivers to completely customize the driving experience in the G-Class for any kind of terrain. To make driving the G-Class as convenient and comfortable as possible, the interior dashboard was completely redesigned for 2017, putting each button right where it needs to be. This makes finding and using each feature, such as the three-way interlocking differentials, easier and quicker, even if you are unfamiliar with the controls.
The essence of the G550 4X4² can be found in various G-Class concepts, but nothing like it has ever been brought to market. It is bigger, stronger, and generally more aggressive than the standard G550, but you don’t need us to tell you that, just take a look at the picture!
