The holiday season is nearly upon us, and the Phoenix-area is ramping up for the ultimate 2017 holiday celebration with countless events, light shows, and concerts to attend. As a proud member of the community, the team here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead put together our top three picks for November and December holiday events for 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Check them out below.

ZooLights


Illuminate your holiday season with ZooLights, a magical event featuring millions of lights, hundreds of stunning displays throughout the zoo, and family-friendly activities and performances. The feature-exhibit this year will be the Dinosaurs in the Desert exhibit, which features life-size dinosaurs around the park. The event also offers a nightly snowfall and festive food and drinks. Admission prices are as follows:
  • With Dinos in the Desert: $21.95 for peak nights or $16.96 for non-peak nights
  • Without Dinos in the Desert: $17.95 for peak nights or $12.95 for non-peak nights

Glendale Glitters


An award-winning holiday lighting event, Glendale Glitters has become a family tradition across the state. The event features a stunning display of 1.5 million lights across 16 blocks of Historic Downtown Glendale—it is the largest free holiday light display in Arizona. The festivities include events in downtown Glendale each Friday and Saturday through December 16. We’ve listed the events below.
  • Nov. 24-25: Glendale Glitters Spectacular Weekend
  • Dec. 1-2: Glendale’s Jingle Bell Rockin’ Nights
  • Dec. 8-9: Glendale’s Winter Wonderland Weekend
  • Dec. 15-16: Glendale’s Spirit of Giving Weekend

When: Daily Nov. 24 – Jan. 6 | 6 PM – 10 PM

Where: Downtown Glendale | 58th and Glendale Ave, Glendale, AZ

CitySkate Holiday Ice Rink


Get into the spirit by skating on a real ice rink in the heart of downtown Phoenix. For the season, CityScape will be transformed into a huge ice skating rink with a massive 36-foot holiday tree with hundreds of twinkling lights placed in the center. Hot coca will be available, as well as photos-with-Santa opportunities every Saturday and Sunday from 4 PM – 8PM. Admission is $15.
