The year is in full swing, which means it’s time to plan for the next holiday event. The next holiday to plan for is St. Patrick’s Day. Here in the Phoenix area there are a variety of exciting activities to take part in, including the historical St. Patrick’s Day parade. We have everything you need to know about the big day, including the start time and parade route so you can plan your day accordingly.
The 34th Annual Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Faire will be taking place Saturday, March 11, 2017. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and goes from 3rd Street from Virginia to McDowell. This year’s theme is “Salute to Irish Music and Dance”. The Faire also starts at 10 a.m. and admission is $10 for adults 13 and older, kids 12 and under are free and seniors and military are $8.00.
The 2017 Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Faire will have three stages with Irish music, Irish stepdancing and bagpipers. There will also be food and beverages, Irish crafts and merchandise, Irish Clubs, a children’s area and more. When you purchase a ticket to the St. Patrick’s Day Faire, you get free parking in the parking garage located at 1850 North central Avenue. There will also be a few round-trip shuttle bus from the parking garage to the faire from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
