When Will The 2018 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Arrive In United States?
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is one of the most recognizable luxury SUVs in the history of planet Earth. In the last 40 years or so, the G-Class has stood as a representation of class and a source of motivation for citizens of every continent. Is it because of its unique boxy design? Is it because of the powerful AMG® engines? Perhaps it has to do with the four-way locking differentials that you won’t find on any other passenger car. All we know is, we are excited for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz G-Class release date.
When And How To Lock Differentials In The G-Class
Don’t get too excited, or upset, for that matter, because the G-Class will still look almost identical for 2018. The interesting thing is that it will be a little bit larger, while also being lighter. These sound like visual changes, but actually the wider body will make add interior room without making the SUV actually look larger and the lighter material will make the G-Class more efficient.
As the release date for the 2018 G-Class grows closer, more and more spy shots are popping up on the internet. Most of them are still completely under camouflage, but you can see the overall look of the iconic SUV in the videos below.
Mercedes-Benz is done releasing vehicles in 2016, so we expect to see the new G-Class hit showroom floors in the first quarter of 2017. Based on the status of the G-Class models in the videos above, it is safe to say that it won’t be ready until March.
