2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris PREMIUM Release Date

First, we saw the Sprinter WORKER, and it was good. Soon, we will be introduced to the Sprinter Premium and that will be good, too. Looking even further into the future, the Metris WORKER will change the way we afford light-duty commercial vans, and THAT will be good. What more could we ask for? How about a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris PREMIUM release date?

Mercedes-Benz is known for many things, but the main characteristic that sticks out in most of our minds is luxury. For this reason, it came as a surprise when the Sprinter WORKER was unveiled. Granted, an affordable Mercedes-Benz commercial van is a blessing, but it isn’t like Mercedes-Benz to do away with expensive options.As it turns out, though, Mercedes-Benz didn’t get rid of these options, it just moved them to the PREMIUM lineup.

What does it mean to be PREMIUM? For Mercedes-Benz, it means state of the art. It means a button for every open space on the dashboard, and it means your van can almost drive itself. There aren’t really that many things you can do to a van, but the most prominent selling point of the Sprinter PREMIUM is the driver-assistance features. For the Metris PREMIUM, expect even more advanced features because the technology will advance a lot before the luxury commercial van hits the streets.

Release Date

Like the Sprinter, the Metris will be featured as a Metris WORKER before the PREMIUM comes out. The WORKER will be available by the end of this year, so expect a the PREMIUM to come out in the first quarter of 2017. Both will have their advantages, but all the cool people will be driving the PREMIUM. What’s your poison? Affordability or Luxury?
