Widescreen Cockpit Display

Model-specific exclusive appointments, extended customization options, and luxurious materials can be found throughout the 2019 E 53 Cabriolet cabin. A new control and display concept with bright, dual high-resolution 12.3” displays. The two displays sit under one shared glass cover that blends into a Widescreen Cockpit and emphasizes the horizontal orientation of the cabin design. The Widescreen Cockpit’s large display puts virtual instruments in the driver’s direct field of vision, along with a central display above the cabriolet’s center console.

Touch-sensitive Touch Control buttons on the steering wheel respond to swiping movements, enabling the driver to control the entire infotainment system without taking their hands off the wheel. The infotainment system can also be operated by voice control.
