Final Edition of the Mercedes-Benz SLC

2020 Mercedes-Benz SLC Final Edition acceleration and design

Say goodbye to the beloved Mercedes-Benz sportscar. But, the SLC isn’t going out without the appropriate amount of pomp and flash. The 2020 SLC Final Edition is equipped with modern technology while the unique paint color pays homage to its roots. Let’s find out more about the acceleration and design of this model.

Why does the Final Edition have a yellow paint color option?

The SLC first appeared as the SLK in 1996 in the eye-catching Yellowstone color. This attention-grabbing model was renamed the SLC  not too long ago in 2016 and was successful for three generations. Now, we are facing a farewell.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG® SLC 43 Final Edition is a same bright yellow, similar to the first edition with its available Sun Yellow exterior color option. Those looking for a more subdued color can find it on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz SLC 300, which has an exterior color of Selenite Gray.

The exterior isn’t the only thing to draw attention in this Final Edition. One such color scheme is the Black/Silver Pearl Nappa Leather pairing on the seats. It has gray topstitching on the sport seats, which are standard in this edition.

The Final Edition of the SLC also includes the AIRSCARF® feature, which is another air vent at neck-level and can provide warm air on chilly nights or if you are driving to cooler states.

SLC Final Edition acceleration times

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz SLC Final Edition sticks with the agility of its predecessors. The SLC 300 can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds. As you might expect, the AMG SLC 43 springs forward even faster, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.6 seconds.
