The Five Best Features of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV

Best Features 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV

November can’t come soon enough as we wait for the all new GLC-Class to arrive on dealership lots throughout the country. The GLC, replacing the GLK, is more luxurious, more powerful, and more comfortable than the outgoing GLK. Take a moment to look at some of the best features of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV.

GLC Dynamic Select

The GLC will have five driving modes. As Mercedes-Benz likes to do, the GLC will have a unique spin to the modes it offers. It will have the standard Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual, but will also feature an Eco mode to achieve the best efficiency.

GLC COMAND Navigation

The COMAND Navigation system is somewhat new for Mercedes-Benz. It is currently available in higher-end models, but like the GLK, the GLC was designed to be on the affordable side, which makes it more exciting to see the software come as a standard. The COMAND system is a medium for operating all of the electronic functions of the GLC.

GLC Smartphone Features

By use of USB or Bluetooth, the GLC and your smartphone become a team of superheroes. By use of data on your phone, you get the luxury of maps, internet, driving directions, music, and more. Once connected, your phone can be operated using hands-free voice activation or the convenient buttons on the steering wheel.

GLC Safety Features

The GLC is one of the safest Mercedes-Benz vehicles to ever come off the line. It comes with extremely advanced technology that is always looking out for you. For example, braking technologies will prevent head on collisions and lessen the impact of rear-end collisions by use of front and rear cameras.

Plug-in GLC Hybrid

More than likely, the hybrid option will not be available until some time after the release of the diesel and unleaded versions. This doesn’t mean, however, that it shouldn’t be recognized. Hybrid technologies are improving exponentially. Hybrid Mercedes-Benz vehicles in particular are not just efficient, but also luxurious and performance-based. There are many benefits to driving an eco-friendly vehicle in the state of Arizona.

We still have four months to wait for the release of the GLC, but it will be worth the wait. The best features of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV also make it one of the most anticipated sport-utility vehicles ever. If you would like to see how some of these technologies work, stop in at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead for a look.
