Mercedes-Benz Remote Parking Assist works to help you park in tight urban spaces and more with your smartphone running the MercedesME app. The system can measure and determine open parking spaces. When the driver chooses an open parking space and the route the vehicle will take, they must exit the vehicle and activate the Remote Parking Assist app. The system will then automatically park your vehicle in the chosen space. The drive must be within close distance while the system parks your vehicle.
The Remote Parking Assist system utilizes 360-degree surround-view cameras and ultrasonic sensors that can avoid and maneuver away from any object that may cause a collision. The system can be used in most parking situations, including parallel parking, reverse and forward parking and more.
