Things To Do During Halloween Weekend 2016 In Glendale

Halloween 2016 Events And Trick Or Treating Tips in Glendale AZ

Do you have your pumpkins? Costumes? Children? Sounds like you are ready to hit the streets around Glendale AZ for some candy collection. For best results, try saying things like “Gimmie the candy and no one gets hurt, see” or “I’m Crazy Protractor Face, now give me some candy!” Here are the best Halloween 2016 Events and trick or treating tips in Glendale AZ.

Trick Or Treat Glendale AZ 2016

In the greater Phoenix area, we don’t have official posted times of when families should be out trick or treating. We are fortunate to have a lot of sunlight and high temperatures that allow for trick or treating all the way up to 9:00 PM. For most families, though, 6:00 – 8:00 PM is the norm.

Other Halloween Activities

Trick or treating is fun for a few hours, but what about the rest of the weekend? There has to be more! If you want enough candy to fill a GLS, try some of these events!

Spooky Skating Weekend

For something a little different, dress up in your costume and go ice skating at AZ Ice Peoria! The spooky weekend will take place on the 29th and 30th. It will feature trick or treating, concessions, a costume contest, and a bounce house! AZ Ice Peoria also hosts public skating, group events, skating lessons, and hockey throughout the rest of the year. Who knows, maybe you will find your new favorite pass time.

Teen Fright Night

The Glendale Public Library will be hosting some Halloween-themed team competitions after it closes on 10/22. There will be pizza, music, and prizes for all willing to risk the night in the spooky library.

Howl-O-Ween

The Arizona Coyotes are hosting a trick-or-treating event before their game on 10/29. In order to participate, you need to buy a ticket for the NHL game, but you’ll get to see the Coyotes take on the Colorado Avalanche.

Zombie Larp VI: Nuclear Fallout

Save the world from invading zombies on 10/28! They have taken over the library and you must fight to win it back. It is your duty as a Glendale citizen.

Foothills Neighborhood Hallo!

Bring your kids to the Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center on 10/28 for games, candy, face painting, and train rides! If you have any questions about these events in Glendale AZ, leave a comment below to get some answers!
