Five Christmas Themed Adventures In Maricopa County
Happy Holidays from Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead! If you want to get the most out of this holiday season, check out one or all of our favorite events and activities in Phoenix AZ 2016, excluding test driving Mercedes-Benz vehicles and scheduling service appointments, that is.
One word; SNOW. The Carefree Christmas Festival is one of the biggest holiday events in the area. Among many other things, the festival will have 40 tons of real snow, complete with a sledding hill. There is also the Electric Light Parade, the Pet Parade, the Holiday Food and Gift Market, and the Holiday Fireworks Extravaganza. It is great for all ages and will all be taking place the weekend of December 9th.
More snow! on December 10, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix has promised us 20 more tons of snow to experiment with.
The zoo is one of the best places in town for holidays and special events. It is always on top of fun themes and creative ideas. One of its most popular attractions is ZooLights, which features millions of Christmas lights and holds the title for biggest display of lights in the Southwest.
Glendale Glitters is another light show that is famous in the Valley. Every weekend through January 7th, Glendale Glitters will be featuring live music, carriage rides, and of course, Christmas lights.
Rent skates or bring your own to CitySkate at CityScape Phoenix, right in the center of downtown Phoenix AZ. It is a huge hit every year and not because of the cookies and hot chocolate.
