How far can I go in my 2019 Mercedes-Benz C 300 sedan?

Do you have a long trip planned? How about a road trip to LA? Here’s how far you can go in your 2019 Mercedes-Benz C 300.

Fuel efficiency of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz C 300 Sedan

Destination: Los Angeles. How far can you get on a full tank of gas? We’re not mathematicians, but here’s a general idea of how far you can go in your Mercedes-Benz C 300. The 2019 C 300 Sedan has a fuel efficiency* of 23 miles per gallon in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The C 300 has a 17.4-gallon fuel tank.

Our starting location will be here with us at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead! We are located at 9260 W Bell Road in Peoria. As we’ve mentioned, the 2019 C 300 can go 34 miles per gallon and has a 17.4-gallon tank, which means that you can go 591.6 miles on the highway (depending on driving conditions and your own driving style). This means that you can, theoretically, go from our dealership here in Peoria all the way to Los Angeles, CA, on a single tank of gas, and still have a bit left over. This is when we are using the EPA-estimated highway fuel efficiency.

But what if you want to go to Houston, TX, instead? That’s 1,202 miles away. You’ll get just passed Van Horn, TX on one tank, which is passed El Paso, TX. But, you’ll still need to get to the other side of Texas, 626 miles away, which is still over the 591.6 mpg you’ll get on a full tank of gas when using the 34-mpg fuel efficiency. So, you’ll need to fill up the tank again to make it those last few miles to Houston. This means you can get to Houston, TX from Peoria, AZ, on 2 and a bit tanks of gas in your 2019 C 300 Sedan.

Again, we are just guesstimating on the fuel efficiency you’ll have based on the EPA-estimated fuel efficiency, which can differ from reality during different driving conditions and styles.
