Mercedes-Benz has become more powerful than we could ever possibly imagine with the new Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. We all expected something awesome, but we didn’t expect a fully-electric luxury coupe with a range of 200 miles. We expected an advanced interior but we didn’t think it would look so clean and futuristic. We expected something big, but we didn’t expect something that big, and we’ve seen dogs driving cars! Exactly how long is the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6? We don’t want to give it up that easy! Read more to find out!

Vision Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 Length

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 is 18.5 feet long from front grille to rear bumper. That is more than a foot longer than the standard Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it isn’t the longest car in history.

What is the longest car in history?

Think of all the biggest cars you know. Does Cadillac stand out in your mind? It should! The longest car in the history of the automotive industry is the Cadillac Fleetwood. From 1974 to 1976, Cadillac produced the Cadillac Fleetwood 75 sedan. It was 21 feet long and weighed up to 6,100 pounds. Can you believe that? A three-ton passenger car that three basketball players could lay down on top of head to tow and still need to stretch out a little to reach the ends.

Why so long?

In the 1970s, consumers bought huge cars because gas was cheep and it is incredibly practical to have the cargo capacity of a city bus, even if you didn’t use it everyday. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 has a 1930s look to it, which is one of the most valuable decades for Mercedes-Benz cars right now. Combine these two characteristics with futuristic technology and you have one of the most popular cars on the internet right now.
