MV Agusta will be unveiling a new motorcycle on September 4th. So far, all it has to offer is one picture and one short teaser video of the FZ4. MV Agusta says it will be revolutionary, and based on the looks of it, we agree. What is still up in the air, however, is the specifications sheet. Well, we have a few ideas.
Mercedes-Benz and MV Agusta became partners in February of this year. MV Agusta has been on a roller coaster pretty much its whole life. By buying heavily into the Italian manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz hopes to not only save the name, but also expand it into America. MV Agusta bikes can currently be purchased in the United States, but only through specialized power sports dealers. In the future, MV Agusta motorcycles will be right next to the GT S and the C-Class in our showroom. That’s right! Much of the details are still up in the air but MV Agusta and Mercedes-Benz will merge to sell both vehicles at the same Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
Currently, MV Agusta has a superbike known as the Brutale F4. It is the most aggressive bike available from the brand, but it doesn’t really look anything like what we see in the picture above. In fact, the picture almost looks more like an 80s Ducati than anything else. Still, if the current F4 is any indicator, we can expect a 4-cylinder, 1000 CC engine with 200 horsepower. We will keep you updated as soon as we learn more about the bike, but for now, September 4th is the big day to remember. What do you think? Is it awesome or weird?
