One of the safety features of the 2023 GLC is a video device that enables drivers to view the engine. By avoiding them, drivers can maintain a smooth ride owing to the Surround View System, which shows obstacles beneath the car. Mercedes-Benz does not make the complete list of available driver aid functions available to the general public. A rearview camera, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, driver attention monitoring, and active parking assist are just a few of the standard safety features that come standard on the outgoing model for 2022.
Another optional feature is a 360-degree camera system. It recognizes traffic signs and serves as the “eyes” for the vehicle’s active parking assist system and obstacle identification. The 360-degree camera offers a simulated bird’s eye view of the vehicle. This helps the driver avoid hitting stationary objects if they do not want to employ active parking assistance. The 360-degree video technology allows the all-wheel-drive 4Matic variant when driving lightly off-road.
