Digital cockpit display and features

The cockpit will have a standard dual 7-inch or 10.25-inch high-resolution screens that present visuals with stunning clarity. The touchscreen central display allows you to access features, change settings and customize themes with ease.

One thing you can change using the central display is the color ambience. The GLB offers 64 colors to fill the cabin with one color or a slow cycle of several colors. You can adjust these settings by using the Mercedes-Benz User Experience as well.

What is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience?

The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) is an in-car personal assistant. All you must do is say what you want and MBUX will respond. Say something like, “Hey Mercedes, turn up the heat,” and the system will listen and make the adjustments. You can adjust several cabin features and MB Navigation just by speaking.

The GLB also offers advanced driver assists to have a safer drive. This will also include live videos with graphic overlay of your next turn, and in-cabin gesture controls.

Next-generation driver assistance

This technology will help driving on the road a little safer. You can park hands-free for an easier experience while parallel parking. Adaptive cruise assists with steering, stop-and-go traffic and offramps. Although this tech may help prevent an accident, it cannot replace being an attentive driver.

If you do get into an accident, the Mercedes me connect app can make receiving help faster and easier.
