What are the Best Recipes for your 2018 Super Bowl Party?

The big game is coming up this weekend, and even though the Arizona Cardinals won’t be playing, there’s no reason not to party. While many people like to head to sports bars during the Super Bowl, we’ve always been more partial to home parties. Gather a group of friends together to gorge over appetizers and beer! It sounds like a great plan to us. Not sure what you want to serve at your Super Bowl 2018 party? Keep reading to check out a few of our favorite dishes for this year’s Super Bowl party!

2018 Super Bowl Party Recipes

  • Taco Salad
    • In a small bowl, mix together (8) ounces of cream cheese, (8 ounces) of sour cream, (8) ounces of French onion dip and (1) envelope of taco seasoning until blended smoothly.
    • Spread the mixture onto a round serving platter.
    • Top the mixture cleanly with shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, diced green onion and black olives.
    • Serve with tortilla chips
  • Slow-Cooker Buffalo Chicken Wings
    • Place (2) pounds of chicken wings into a large slow-cooker.
    • Top the wings with a mixture of (1) cup of buffalo wing sauce and (1) packet of ranch seasoning. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    • Cook (covered) for about (3) hours total.
    • To finish wings, place on baking sheets and parchment paper and broil for about (5) minutes (or until crispy).
    • Serve with ranch dressing (or bleu cheese).
  • Bacon-wrapped Jalapenos
    • Combine (8) ounces of cream cheese, (1 1/2) cups of shredded cheese and (1) chopped clove of garlic.
    • Next, cut the jalapenos in half (the long way) and remove the seeds. Fill the halved jalapenos with the cheese mixture. Wrap each with (1/2) slice of bacon.
    • Bake at (400) degrees for about (25) minutes (or until bacon is crispy).

It’s that time of year again! The matchup has been decided and the big game is less than two weeks away! But where are you going to watch it? There’s no better tradition than heading to a sports bar for the Super Bowl because nothing goes better with football than wings and beer. Fortunately for residents near Phoenix, AZ, there are a number of great places to watch the game. And while it’s a bummer the Arizona Cardinals won’t be playing on Super Bowl Sunday, you can think of it as an opportunity to pay more attention to the food and drinks than the game!
