This upcoming electric SUV brings a new perspective to the lineup

What features are on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC?

An electric Mercedes-Benz SUV? That’s right. This all-electric vehicle has shown some great promise in features and specs. Take a look at what you can expect to find on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC.

Features of the 2020 EQC

You’ll be able to look forward to the MBUX multimedia system; one that is currently only on the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Now, however, the Mercedes-Benz EQC will have this touchscreen. One of the strengths with this system is the voice control that you will be able to use. All you need to do is say “Hey Mercedes” and then your command. No strange keywords, no awkward phrasing, just everyday language.

You can also look forward to the PRESAFE®* Plus system, which can help your vehicle detect a rear-end collision and take preventative measures to reduce the effect the impact will have on the passengers. While this system isn’t infallible, it does have the potential to help in this type of situation.

The pre-entry climate control is another feature that you can look forward to using in the EQC. As you might imagine, you can control the climate of your vehicle before you even get in it!

Is the Mercedes-Benz EQC going to go into production?

Yes! The production of the EQC is scheduled to start in 2019. This isn’t just a great idea—it’s something that is actually happening, so brace yourself to see this vehicle sometime in the near(ish) future.

We love questions here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead. If you need to get your hands on this electric SUV or have any questions about it then don’t hesitate to contact us! Our team of experts would love to tell you more about the EQC!

Until the 2020 EQC is released you can always check out some of the other Mercedes-Benz vehicles. From the upcoming 2020 GLE to the previously mentioned 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class, there are some great vehicles that are either on their way or already here!

*PRESAFE® closes the side windows when the system’s sensors detect side movements that suggest a possible rollover. A small gap is left near the fully closed position. Seat and head restraints adjust only when equipped with memory system.
