What is Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select?

When you are shopping for a new vehicle or you have just bought one, you might be overwhelmed by all the new features you have to explore. Today we’re going to help you learn about one of these features that comes with many Mercedes-Benz models. That feature is Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select. We’re going to take a look at what this feature provides and how it can improve your everyday driving.

Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select Modes

The Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select system allows you to easily switch driving modes depending on the terrain and location you are exploring. These drive modes are: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual. These modes can be selected with the tap of the console button. In Sport mode, the throttle, shifting and chassis sharpen and in ECO mode, they ease up. The Individual mode is particularly exciting because you are able to set it up yourself. Each mode makes adjustments so you can have the ideal driving experience wherever you go.

What is the default mode on the Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select?

The default mode is Comfort and it is engaged whenever you start your car. Its settings optimize smoothness and refinement. It also engaged the ECO Start/Stop System to help save fuel at stoplights.  Sport mode matches the car’s enthusiasm to yours. It has a quicker response to steering and throttle maneuvers. For even more intense performance some vehicles even have the Sport+ mode and AMG models also have a Race mode. Select SUVs also have off road mode. With Dynamic Select, there’s a driving mode for every mood.
