Mercedes-Benz has a slew of models that will join its EQ electric vehicles sub-brand by the end of this year. One is the EQE SUV, a multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive sedan set to premiere on October 16, 2022. But before we get to see it in all its grandeur, Mercedes-Benz USA has given us a first glimpse of what its avant-garde interior will look like. Join us at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ, as we discuss some of the key highlighting features you’ll see inside the upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQE all-electric SUV.
The upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is based on Mercedes-EQ’s large electric platform and will be available with key innovations found in the EQS SUV, yet at the same time even more dynamic than the EQS SUV.
Mercedes-Benz says the five-seater EQE SUV will boast ample headroom, legroom, and elbow room and will be one of the most spacious electric SUVs in its class.

Apart from its remarkable interior space, the EQE SUV will come equipped with a standard 12.8-inch Central OLED Touchscreen Portrait Display with 12.3-inch Instrument Cluster for the US market.
It will also feature prominent outer vents that employ a turbine design, keeping the hyper analog theme through the contrast between high-tech precision mechanics. The front section of the center console integrates with the instrument panel and is free-standing in space, and the vent band from the cockpit continues into the front doors. The EQE SUV also boasts a floating control cluster with an integrated door opener and seat controls that takes over the functional interpretation of the otherwise purely decorative elements.
The avant-garde architecture inside the EQE SUV features traditional and modern materials and colors that give it a unique atmosphere. It will be available in five coordinated color combinations comprising warm and cool tones that underscore its spaciousness. For example, warm, modern sable brown with cool neva grey. The same warm-cool color combination continues with the hybrid trim elements that feature the warmth of wood with the technical coolness of natural aluminum. Lastly, the laser-cut trim element backlit with the Mercedes-Benz pattern also creates a unique ambiance.
