A wide view of the Super Bowl field
Mercedes-Benz has something big planned for the Super Bowl this year. For a few years now Mercedes-Benz has had an ad air during the Super Bowl. This year they’ve decided to release the commercial a little early so true Mercedes-Benz fans get to be part of the excitement. Today we’re going to take a look at this new ad and see which actor is featured in it.
This year the Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial is called “Easy Rider”. It features Peter Fonda, most-known for his role in the film of the same name. He is shown in the ad driving the new high-performance Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C Roadster. The video is directed by the Academy-Award-winning Coen Brothers, Joel and Ethan.
The commercial (below) features a group of bikers who worship Peter Fonda, but never imagined they would get to meet him, but they do in an unexpected way that they will never forget. The commercial is perfectly paired with the song “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf. The song helps express the feeling of driving on the open road in the AMG Roadster. Mercedes-Benz will also run latest year’s “Snow Date” ad during the Pre-Game show. Check out both ads below!
