Summer of 2016 is when we can expect the new 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class release date. Even with the entry-level 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, you get a V8 with 449 horsepower and a 9-speed automatic transmission, which is also found in the Mercedes-Benz GLC. That gives you almost 75 percent of the power of the S65 for less than 43 percent of the price. Given its status at the top of the Mercedes-Benz ladder. The S550 is even available with all the same driver-assistance features as the S65 or the S600.
