Speed and Acceleration
Built for driving enthusiasts with a need for speed, the 2019 AMG® C 43 Coupe delivers satisfying performance. The coupe generates a maximum 385 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and reaches its peak torque of 384 lb-ft at 2,500 – 5,000 rpm. The coupe sprints to 60 MPH from a complete standstill in an impressive 4.5 seconds and features an electronically limited top speed of 130 MPH.
Engine and Transmission
The 2019 Mercedes-AMG® C 43 Coupe is powered by an AMG®-enhanced 3.0L V6 biturbo engine that combines a high-power output and reduced fuel consumption. The high-power output occurs because of separate, large turbochargers, which are installed close to the engine and are incredibly responsive. The AMG® engine is easily identifiable with its cover featuring red aluminum inserts and AMG® lettering.
The 3.0L V6 is mated to an AMG® SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed sport transmission, specifically tuned by Mercedes-AMG developers to deliver dynamic, responsive performance. The transmission’s model-specific software enables the transmission to achieve extremely short shift times. The transmission features several driving modes that change key driving parameters to customize the feel of the drive.
