Learn More About Hybrid Charging and Fueling Your New Mercedes-Benz

How-To: Mercedes-Benz Hybrid Charging and Fueling

2-minute Read – At Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ, we’re committed to helping you maximize your hybrid vehicle experience. One of the most significant advantages of a Mercedes-Benz hybrid is its combination of a gasoline engine and an electric motor, giving you an efficient, powerful, and flexible driving option.

Here’s a quick guide on charging the battery and refueling the gas tank in your new Mercedes-Benz hybrid.

Finding a Charging Station

Locating a charging station is easy with the Mercedes-Benz app or your vehicle’s center display. In the Mercedes-Benz app, open the navigation tab to view nearby charging stations. From there, you can send your chosen station to your vehicle’s display, making the navigation process seamless. You can also access charging stations directly on your vehicle’s center display, ensuring you’ll always find a convenient spot to recharge.

Charging Your Hybrid Battery

Once you arrive at a charging station, ensure your vehicle is turned off and unlocked. Then, open the charging flap, plug in the charger, and start your charging session. The Mercedes-Benz app allows you to monitor the charge status in real-time, giving you peace of mind and control, even if you step away from the vehicle.

Refueling the Gas Tank

When it’s time to refuel, Mercedes-Benz hybrids require a quick step to depressurize the gas tank. Press the gas icon on the lower section of the driver’s side door. A message on your driver’s display indicates that the tank is depressurizing. Once complete, you’re ready to refuel and continue your journey.

Whether charging up or refueling, Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrids make it easy to stay on the road with minimal hassle. Visit us at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ, to learn more about maintaining and optimizing your Mercedes-Benz hybrid.
