It’s difficult not to feel that small zing of panic when a dashboard warning light turns on. Even if it’s just a simple flat tire alert, it’s important to know what to do when your flat tire alert comes on in your Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
Can I still drive if I have a flat tire?
It’s not advised to drive when you have a flat tire. However, you do have some options if you see that tire dashboard warning light up and you aren’t near a service facility. If you drive a Mercedes-Benz, you’ll have 3 different options in the form of a tire fit mobility kit, a spare tire, or run-flat tires.
If you have a tire fit mobility kit, you can temporarily patch the flat tire to get your vehicle to a service facility. The second option is the spare tire you could expect to see on other vehicles as well.
If you have the third option, run-flat tires, they’ll already be on your vehicle. Run-flat tires can potentially allow you to drive on low-pressure tires in order to get to a service facility. You can watch the video below to learn more about this option.
