2017 Mercedes-Benz CLS vs Porsche Panamera

Both the CLS and the Panamera are available in many different trims. In this scenario, the Mercedes-Benz AMG® CLS 63 S, which is the flagship coupe for the CLS name, is most similar to the Panamara GTS. Under the hood, the CLS 63 S has a 5.5L V8 biturbo engine that makes 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. In the Panamera, you will find another V8 engine, this time with a displacement of 4.8 liters. Although both engines are powerful, the CLS has the Panamera GTS beat by 137 horsepower and more than 200 lb-ft of torque. What does this mean for performance?
