The 2019 Mercedes-Benz has had a few changes from its 2018 predecessor. Whether or not they are worth it is entirely up to you, but it’s always a good idea to check them out in order to make an informed buying decision. That’s why we are sharing our research on these two vehicles with you here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead.
We’ll be looking the technology features and newest additions of the G-Class. While it may not look much different on the exterior of the vehicle, the inside is almost completely different. This overhaul has led to some pretty exciting additions to the G-Class. This includes things like a new transmission, some driver-assist technologies, new driving modes, and a bit of a raise when it comes to ground clearance as well. Now that you know a bit more, let’s get started!
The 9G-TRONIC® 9-speed automatic transmission is an exciting addition, especially as this isn’t the only new thing on the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class. You’ll also have an all-new independent suspension system. You can also get driver-assist technologies in the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class that weren’t even available on the 2018 version. The Forward-Collision Warning® system is among these safety features, and it works to help make driving this G-Class SUV a safer experience for driver and passengers alike.
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class stands above the 2018 G-Class—literally. It has an additional 1.5” to help it rise above the competition.
You’ll also have a new system called the DYNAMIC SELECT® system. This gives you 5 driving modes to choose from as you are driving your new G-Class: Comfort, Sport, Eco, Individual, and the new G-Mode.
