The GLA-Class SUV is the most compact crossover SUV that Mercedes-Benz has on offer. It’s an excellent vehicle for those that want more space and ruggedness from their vehicles, but don’t want a full-blown SUV. And there are three different versions of it currently available. Here’s what you can expect from the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA SUV. Take a look to see which trim of its three trims is right for you.
The 2021 GLA 250 is powered by a 221-horsepower turbo-four engine and FWD, with AWD as an available option. It comes equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, four USB ports, a touchpad controller, and a 7-inch touchscreen. MB Tex synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and power-adjustable front seats are standard. It has multiple safety features too, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, crosswind assist, vehicle exit warning, driver drowsiness monitoring, and a rearview camera.
The AMG GLB 35 has an AMG-tuned 302-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, standard AWD, high-performance brakes, two additional drive modes, and a sport-tuned suspension. Other than the performance upgrades, the AMG GLA 35 is mostly identical the GLA 250. It retains all the features and available packages from the GLA 250, with a few changes.
The AMG GLB 45 touts higher performance than the AMG GLA 35. It switches to a different engine, an AMG-tuned 382-horsepower inline turbo-four. It also sports an additional driving mode, totaling six different modes. Other than this, it is identical in feature load and available packages to the AMG GLA 35.
